The occurrence of congenital hyperostosis in piglets in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is described. The clinicai history and macroscopic and núcroscopic changes in two newbom pigs submitted to the Laboratory of Swine Pathology of the Centro de Pesquisa Veterinária Desidério Finamor are presented.
