Abstract

he general objec ve of this study was to iden fy, in Bradford breeds raised in the Pampa RS Biome, a morph metric measure which shows beter correla ons with live weight. The measures evaluated were compared under the levels of na ve pasture of 4, 8, 12 and 16 (Kg of green DM of na ve forage per 100kg of live weight per day and by year season. It was analyzed two experiments, one with steers from the nishing phase and the other one at the nishing phase. The characteris c with show high correla on with live weight, in both experiments, was the thoracic perimeter, r .92 and r .87 respec vely, considering only the different forage on offer levels. When this measure considers the different offers and year season, it was affected by the live weight in different offer of na ve pasture.
