Abstract

The establishment of a cropping system for wheat with the objective to reduce plant pathogens that attack the plant, as well as the conservation of the soil and the increase of the grain yield, has been object of intense research over the last fi fteen years. Thus, the evaluation of characteristics of technological quality becomes very important, since the end point of the wheat production is its commercialization, which is dependent of its technological quality. The present work had the objective to evaluate the effect of crop rotation systems on technological quality of wheat. The experimental design was randomized blocks with three replications. The treatments consisted of six crop rotation systems. It was observed that continuous wheat reduced test weight and thousand grains weight; experimental milling and falling number were not affected by crop rotation systems studied.
