Abstract

The homogcncity of global solar radiation data registered at Meteorological Stations of the Fundação Estadual dePesquisa Agropecuária of the Rio Grande do Sul Statc - FEPAGRO/DCT was studicd. Monthly averages of global solarradiation data from 26 meteorological stations during 12 Months (a total of 312 series of data) wcre uscd in this study. Thehomogeneity of each series was tested with thc interactiVe test for one sample. In addition, thc annual averagc of global solarradiation was related to sunshine duration aiming to detect problems in the registration of global solar radiation since actinographywere installed. It was observed that 16 out of the 26 stations presented lack of homogcncity in thc data, but in 79,5% of themonths had homogcncity. In some locations, part of the data sedes have to be discarded dueto lack of homogeneity, for example:Júlio de Castilhos, Bagé, ljui, Rio Grande and Quarai.
