Adaptability and stability of common bean genotypes grow in two locations in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul
Abstract
Adaptability and stability parameters of the grain yield (YD) of thirteen common bean genotypes were es mated at two loca ons of Mato Grosso do Sul State (Aquidauana and Dourados), in the period from 2000 2001 to 2005 2006, in the dry and rain harvest, composing a total of 12 environments. Each environment was characterized by the combina on of local x crop season x year. The genotypes were assessed in randonized blocks, with three replica ons. The experimental unit consisted of two lines of 1,50 m in length each one by a width of 0,50 m. The adaptability and stability parameters were es mated using the methodology Eberhart and Russell, Lin and Binns and AMMI biplot model. The results obtained allow to conclude that the cul var Rudá, has broad adapta on; none of the genotypes have predictability of response when considered the three methodologies
simultaneously. The genotypes CNF 7135 Bambui and CNF 4129A 54 are the most unstable and the less produc ve.
