The study aimed to evaluate the effect of irrigation suppression by flood in different reproductive stages on rice seed quality of the cultivars BRS Atalanta, Querencia BRS and BRS 7 Taim. The irrigation suppression was performed in different reproductive stages: exertion panicle (R3), milk grain (R6), grain pasty (R7) and full maturity (R9). The seed quality was evaluated by germination test, cold test, accelerated aging, electrical conductivity and health seeds. The experimental design was completely randomized with five replications. The data were submitted to variance analysis. The means were compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. In the climatic conditions in which was conducted the experiment, it was not possible to check the effect of irrigation suppression on seed quality of the rice cultivars BRS Atalanta, BRS Querencia and BRS Taim. The climatic conditions contributed to the maintenance of water blade in rice crop until close to harvest.
